UPDATE: In-person groups are on hold

In light of COVID-19, all in-person support group meetings are cancelled for the time being. However, several state-based groups are beginning to transition to Zoom; check your state listing for details. In addition, we encourage you to join one of our five monthly support calls. Learn more about the calls and register here.

Location-Based Support Group Meetings

All Pain Connection support groups leaders have gone through our training program, where they learn to guide productive, compassionate discussions amongst participants. They are also trained in helpful techniques, like meditation, breathing exercises, guided imagery, decision-making models, role-playing, assertiveness skills, and more.

Pain Connection groups are designed with your comfort in mind. We will do whatever we can to help accommodate your physical needs. For example, you should feel free to lie down during groups. We encourage you to bring pillows, mats, ice or hot packs—whatever helps keep you comfortable. And, you can come as often or as little as you like.
