Wisconsin/Minnesota Support Group
Pain Connection, a program of the U.S. Pain Foundation, offers free peer-led support groups for people living with chronic pain. These groups provide an inclusive, welcoming space where participants can connect with others who understand the challenges of living with pain, share experiences, and support one another.
All group leaders complete the U.S. Pain Foundation’s Peer Support Group Leader Training Program, where they learn how to facilitate compassionate and respectful conversations, encourage participation, and help create a supportive and inclusive group environment.
During meetings, participants are invited to share their experiences, exchange coping strategies, and learn from one another. While these groups are not therapy or medical treatment, many people find that connecting with others who understand their journey can reduce isolation and foster hope.
All discussions in Pain Connection groups are confidential, and we strive to create a space where everyone feels comfortable participating. You are welcome to join in whatever way works best for you—for example, you may choose to sit comfortably, lie down, or simply listen.
Currently, all groups meet virtually via Zoom.
To register, please complete the form on this page. You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and meeting details.
