Mike Sitar, PhD, Bio-Feedback

"Good experience to meet other people, I wish I had gone sooner. It enriches my life because I am less depressed and hopeless. I can call 20 people when I am sad. It has helped me to relax."
Susan, group member.

SUPPORT GROUPS
Specialized Classes

The Chronic Pain Support Group provides a forum for people handicapped by pain, isolated and alienated by pain, frustrated by lack of services dealing with the emotional aspect of physical pain, and demoralized by changes in careers, families, and society.

Different modalities are used in the support group such as: developing coping skills, decision making models, role-playing, assertiveness training, guided imagery, meditation, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques.

Family members, significant others and interested community members are welcome to attend and participate in the support group.
